t2 2026
In partnership with DXC Technology.
A series of four interactive STEM workshops delivered in TERM 2 of 2025/6 to Year 9 students in selected middle schools. The workshops are designed to immerse students in real-world technology applications, build practical skills, and inspire future career pathways.
Workshops focus on the following key learning outcomes:
Wearable technology in sport: Students learn about the use of wearable tech in sport and build their own wearable motion sensors
Sports movement and AI: Students explore the integration of AI (image recognition) and cricket;
Driverless Vehicles: Students explore how AI is used to make driverless cars a reality, creating and testing their own algorithms
Virtual Reality and Engineering Design Process: Students use VR to simulate real world car racing experiences. Students get hands on experience with key physics and engineering concepts including aerodynamics, wheelbase, centre of gravity and weight distribution.
